Some in torrential rain yet Alonso and Button can't manage 10 between them, what's wrong?

Maybe the fact they have done this, shows they are making progress? I hope so? Or maybe it's just some sort of pr stunt, to prove they can, although I'm not sure how that would work

slightly OT, Did you see the rear winglets that Williams had on their car? A small steep wing on that flat bit of floor just infront of the rear tyre.

Must be very draggy - Susie Wolff was two and a bit seconds off the pace of the Merc.

As for McLaren, I assume they had critical parts of the engine turned down a bit.

Which means the car is probably only 0.5s slower than the mercs.

What data will they gather from the power unit thou in testing? I'm pretty sure they can replicate most of that when Honda were first making the engine.

And its not as easy to test PU as aero parts cause you can just change the wing etc where you cant just go change bits of the engine tongue out

But would be interested to know what type of data they take regarding the engine
