Simple enough. They've been threatening to do it, we all know why.

Should they go ahead and do it?

I wish they'd either STFU or leave (and pay presumably a huge penalty for breaching the contract)..... It is the whining that p***s me off, really undermines the entire company to me and the "image" they attempt to portray.

Yes. So we can see Adrian Newey's take of an LMP1 car!

It wouldn't surprise me either way especially with uncertainty surrounding the futures of some teams. Jump whilst they still can.

I voted yes, but I only want Horner and the two dilbert's leaving. The mechanics etc I feel sorry for and wish they would be sold to someone who does care about competing. Just need to clear out the top of dummy spitting children

Pretty much this, yes. There are certainly issues with the way engine development is limited but a team publicly blaming your engine supplier, especially when that engine supplier recently powered them to four world championships, isn't going to help and just looks petty and spiteful.

Although part of me hopes they stay in with Ferrari engines and Renault ne Lotus beat them next season. hehe

I've voted that they should stay - but that's mainly down to the fact that potentially losing two teams from the grid, especially since they aren't exactly backmarkers would be massively detrimental to the sport IMO. That said I [b]do[/i] have an almost unreasonably intense dislike of Christian Horner so there could be that upside hehe Seriously again though F1 needs more teams fighting it out throughout the field not less so I hope they stay.

The ideal situation would be that the two RB teams are sold and remain in F1 while the whining RB management team ps off elsewhare

I voted yes because I want Red Bull the fizzy drinks company to leave the sport, along with their henchmen. I would be happy for the two teams to remain under different management.

I don't think they should leave but I do think that they should stop behaving like children.

I should have added that I would want someone else to run their cars so Max can continue to overtake....

$500m penalty for leaving, reducing by $100m per year until 2020

No chance of leaving I think

I voted yes, although what I really want is to see the back of Horner - funny how the rules aren't fair now they're no longer winning - wasn't it him who said "it's not our fault, the other teams just to catch up" when Red Bull only had to roll out of the pit garage to win a race...

$500m is still likely to be cheaper than running a team for the next 5 years surely? Plus it is bigger than F1 for Redbull, they will have to consider brand reputation if they are trundling around in the mid field for the next few years. Plus Mateschitz is mega rich, if he wants to take his toys away I doubt $500m fine will stop him.

Redbull and Toro Rosso do bring a lot to the show - they have four quality drivers and a lot of great guys working there. The engine from Renault has never been one of the best, even in their dominant years and I can understand the frustration what with the current Merc dominance being locked in via the rules....... on the other hand the constnat moaning from management does get old, especially as Renault were pushing for these changes.

Overall I think F1 would be poorer without Redbull and it would be better if they stayed...... but only if they have a realistic chance of being competitive...... and running a Ferrari 2015 engine is not going to be any more competitive than this years engine given the rate of development.
