Original poster claims it was from a laptop bought at auction when manor went bust

Says there's also some personal documents on it he wont share and some Aero information he may post.

The "aero information" is just suspension settings (toe, camber, etc.)

Amazed that those laptops weren't wiped.

No sure how the law on this works with companies who are no longer trading or whether the auctioneer/administrators should have been responsible but this is major no no for any company which is an ongoing concern.

pretty poor considering it was just a practice pit stop (guessing due to no coveralls etc?)

Practice stop or not, the whole thing doesn't exactly look slick does it?

Did any of that team at any point look remotely slick? From the first day to the last they were like a joke team from the 80's.

That's a bit harsh!

I think people forget how ste the back markers from history were when talking about Manor!

Also, that's a broken hand right there - strange incident

Read the title and expect to see Haryanto throwing an upper cut or something smile

No they weren't like a joke team from the '80s - not by a long shot. That's pretty insulting. fking armchair experts.

And no, I didn't work for them before you ask.

Looks like his left knee to me. Edge of front wing clips it and he then puts his hand to it.

Yup, sore knee!

Manor were very good, on the verge on breaking into the midfield.

Would the administrator give a toss about wiping laptops? They're just another companies seized assets at that point, and I doubt the redundant staff would care either.

Data Protection. If you currently own personal identifiable data, you have a responsibility to ensure you do not pass it to unauthorised persons.

Would the administrator (as in, official receiver, not the IT admin) be liable? Having never been involved in a company being liquidated, I wonder who actually has the legal responsibilities at the point it is declared insolvent. Presumably the original Directors are no longer there (as you aren't allowed to trade while insolvent).

I suppose I should go and look it up ...

This might seem unsympathetic but looking at that footage maybe the thread title should be 'Pit Crew member gets in way of Manor car'.

Yeah I thought that. Muppet probably works at kwikfit now.

Not at all. The driver misjudged the entry, probably because there is a car from another team already in the box behind, out of shot, and
he couldn't turn in where he wanted.

Oh and Coolhands, he probably works at Mercedes, Red Bull, Williams or Force India now.
