Yes, it appears to be 2018 Engine they are getting too, so hopefully they will be slightly more competitive, if not it will be a bit embarrassing for Alfa.

I expect at least one of the seats going to a Ferrari young driver so that's Wehrlein out on his ear.

Engine and more.

Maybe more like the Force India model with Mercedes - Ferrari underneath, Sauber aero?

I don't know if that's the official colour scheme but that's rather lovely!

I'm actually really happy, I've always supported Sauber after Ferrari and now Alfa are involved, that's me excited for next season already!

I read something similar to this a few weeks back but I couldn't remember if it was Maserati or Alfa. Also, mentioned it to a work colleague about this yesterday.

Reading the comments taking the mick out of Alfa on the BBC link and how original they all are rolleyes

Good news for Sauber, should tighten up the midfield a bit more. Not great news for Haas.

Haas do/does have a 10 year plan though so should be around for a while yet. Think he's being realistic with it...but still can't see them ever winning a race on merit.

HAAS got into F1 to showcase HAAS not alfa romeo so whats the big deal. They buy components from Ferrari. They haven't been given anything.
Great move for securing Sauber future in F1 . I guess torro rosso was out of the question for some reason.

I think TR are for sale, may not want to be locked in.

Very nice looking, it's just a shame that it's only a rebranding exercise.

Well they will be getting the 2018 spec Ferrari engine, instead of the year old ones they have been running

It’s more than the engine

Rebranding as in they take Ferrari bits and put Alfa Romeo badge on them. Perhaps I should have said "marketing" exercise.

The 2018 spec motor should definitely help them to be competitive amongst the midfield teams. Anyone care to guess the order of the constructors championship next year

If they stick with Ericsson, Sauber will finish lower than their potential.

...oh, apparently it's been confirmed.

The paint job looks good, this is it from the front.

They can't do much worse than this year, so with Ferrari 2018 parts, I'm not sure who is going to be at the back, maybe Toro Rosso Honda and Haas?

Edit: not sure which car that is with the high nose and upright rear wing, it's not the 2017 front or slanted rear wing.
