With F1 dropping some of the destinations with lower attendance figures of late where would you think would be good to go?

I understand F1 needs representation in places like the US, the Far East and the Middle East but multiple races in these locations every year is a bit of a waste in my opinion and would be better done on rotation. I personally believe countries with drivers or teams competing in F1 would be sure to attract a crowd as they would have someone to support, a good starting point would be a Finnish GP.

Portugal - I attended the last GP at Estoril in 96 - The circuit was great from a fans perspective as it is essentially in a giant bowl - As a general ticket holder you could see a significant chunk of the track.
It cost us the same amount to go to the GP in Estoril as it did to go to Silverstone that year and the catering facilities were located outside of the circuit - you had to pass your money through the fence in exchange for chicken. Happy days.

How about:

New York (street circuit)
Fuji (Japan)

Rockingham (someone has to fill those stands at some point.......)

Agree with above re Sweden ,although I had to look it up ,it only had a race for 6 years ,1973 to 1978.

Down to the presence on the grid of Ronnie Peterson and Gunnar Nilsson.

Baku Azerbaijan

Barcelona Spain

Spielberg Austria

Silverstone Great Britain - New track is a shadow of the past

Hockenheim Germany - Same as above

I'm wondering whether F1 will ever Make it to Bhuriram circuit in Thailand. I could be tempted.

Austin was awesome this year - better not drop that!!

I’d like to see a street circuit around London. Oh, and Miami...but I suspect I’ll be waiting an awful long time for that (only as it’s so close!!)

Surprised Monaco hasn't made the 'drop' list.

That'd be top of mine!

Birmingham.

...I know it'll never happen!.. and I don't think it could even work for modern day F1 (could it?)

I just have a vague memory of the B'ham Superprix from back when I was a lad... once it was sunny with some TVRs going round, and the other memory was an total downpour and some 6R4s.

The cityscape has changed a fair bit since then, could be an interesting backdrop. (okay flame me)

Races on street circuits, desert circuits and circuits built on reclaimed swamps near uninterested Asian cities are generally st, so they should bin off most of those.

Bring back some of the classic races - Kyalami, Zandvoort, Buenos Aires

I'd love to see them on the full 24h circuit at Le Mans, but that isn't going to happen, and neither is the Nordschleife, sadly.

Its very much at one with nature now but I just want the original 1992-2001 Hockenheim back... i couldn't care less that it wasn't very good for the spectators.

With DRS etc the overtaking would be fast and frantic. 2001 was when i started watching F1 so only got to see the last race there, the hockenheim-ring is just another tilke yawn-track.

Booo.

Austin is a great track. Best of the Tilke designs.
