Afternoon F1 fans!

Some of you may remember that we hosted an F1 Wake Up at Mercedes-Benz World way back in 2015... Is this something that you would interested in again?

If you haven't the faintest what the hell I'm going on about, below are the editorial pieces surrounding it...

Announcement

Review

As part of our new ownership we want to make PH better in every way, and this includes our events. So with our first (and only) F1 wake up a big success 4 years ago, we thought why not kick start it again?!

We were thinking of seeing if we could head to an F1 factory, small cinema, that type of thing really.

If you went to the MBW F1 Wake Up and didn't like something about it, or loved something about it, then we'd love to hear your feedback!

In the mean time - vote away if you'd like to attend one smile

I went, it was amazing, lovely bacon roll when we got there, the chance to watch an F1 race on a cinema screen. A good look round MBW, which in itself is a great place with lots of interesting things to see.

The only let down was the McLaren breaking down on the formation lap!

I also went to the first one. Really great way to start the new season, and the visit around MBW was well worth the early start.

Ditto, was well worth the ridiculously early start; great atmosphere and the addition of some expert commentary too - quite an eclectic mix of freebies iirc ; I’d doo it again in a heart beat

Why not? It's the only way I'll be seeing any races live* this year... wink

*Except maybe the British, if C4 are allowed

Hate to throw a spanner in the works but me and my friends regularly watched races there over the last few years.
My friend attempted to go last year but was told the race wasn't being shown.
We think that MBW no longer has a Sky subscription because the races we watched were using the free coverage.

Now that all races are sky , you might have issues.

No idea if this is the case , but worth bearing in mind.

Thanks for this firebird - definitely something I'll have to look into. Hopefully we can still get our fix at a cool venue!!

That would be a shame. I live two miles away and have been meaning to watch a race there! I may pop in and ask someone.

It's proving a bit more difficult than first expected, as no one really wants or has the facilities to host such a thing!

I'm still waiting on one venue to get back to me - will hopefully have some good news soon.

Cheers!
