where is it? looking on the sky box this morning, I can see no sign of it so either my sky box program info isnt updating or it isnt going to be covered like the first test.

have I missed something?

I remember when the Sky F1 channel first started, and Martin Brundle said he would be able to do loads of technical programs about F1, but that never happened.

The F1 teams have too many secrets that they don't wish to reveal to other teams, so probably why this never happened.

I have seen more interesting F1 technical content on Netflix, Amazon and Youtube, all of which are either free or a fraction of SKY F1 subs.

The first test was a TV trial, which is why there is no coverage on the 2nd week of testing.

It's very poor of Sky F1 not even to have a summary program of Day 1 of 2nd test of 2019.

You would think a channel that has exclusive UK rights to F1 would actually provide some content to watch apart from old repeats of F1 races long ago.

So annoying. F1 TV doesn't show live testing because sky have the rights. Fair enough.. I get sky. Then sky doesn't show it!

I don't need them to make a dedicated show for testing, just broadcast the official F1 output that the guys in the rest of the world are allowed to watch with their f1tv subscription.

As it is all get to see of testing is the timer screen on YouTube...

In previous seasons Sky may not have covered testing live, but they did an evening roundup of testing with Slater interviewing people and Ted doing analysis. This week they are not even doing that, which is ridiculous. Testing is I portant and we Sky subscribers are the core fans o& the sport. We want to know what’s going on.

Sky have literally no excuse not to be televising the second week. F1TV subscribers get it all for a much cheaper fee, so why the hell have Sky chosen not to? Madness, and just another reason why I refuse to subsidise their model. There are paying fans who want to watch it. Other services are providing it. Why not Sky?

I agree. And when I see anti piracy messages I can't help but question who the real criminals are when it comes to who gets to watch what. It feels as if sky control the rights to content they won't show.

I'm not wealthy but I have the capacity to pay for whomever can show me testing. I'll pay gladly. The sad truth is that the only source that can is illegal. I haven't gone that route, but I'm aware of it and it's very frustrating.

How crap is it when the pirates can do a better job of making stuff available than the guys that paid millions for the rights!?

No we don’t (F1TV subscribers). The second test isn’t televised...apparently.

F1TV also unfortunately uses the sky presenting team.

I thought last week f1tv users could watch both the morning and afternoon live test running?

On mine it said 'watch now' but upon clicking I was informed it's not available in my region..

On the positive side watching the first test was like watching paint dry. The sky presentation was dire

Yes it was. That’s why I said “the second test isn’t televised”.

I doubt this is Sky's decision. The teams probably didn't want the second test televised also, as the first was the usual scrum of interviews and TV cameras everywhere.
