i went in 2012 and had bronze access, i would advise you to get there early to get a decent seat, we were that at around 7 in the morning and there was only a few decent spaces left close to the circuit. On the friday and the saturday we walked all around the circuit and we decided on sitting at pouhon on race day, it was a good spot as you had the cars coming down the hill from bruxelles and then round the double left hander that is pouhon and then down towards turn 13. its hard to keep track of what is going on so i would get a radio as even the screens around the circuit aren't the best quality and you obviously dont hear the commentry.

around the track it is very hilly and there will be alot of walking but it is worth it, its a beautiful place and walking through the middle of the track through the trees and hearing the cars race round makes your hairs on the back of your neck stand up, even when it was torrential rain for the friday and saturday. when we were walking around the circuit they had the pace car and the medical car doing lots of laps for some reason and to here their v8's echoing in the mountains was a delight for the ears.

Most important advice is to make sure you enjoy it and embrace it

Was at Spa this weekend just gone for the WEC. Have also seen F1 a few years back.

Would highly recommend using the Friday and Saturday to get around the track and view from as many points as you can. Get to see some of the best attributes of an F1 car around this track.

For the Sunday, prepare for an early start. I have watched from the Kemmel Straight so you can just about see down to the Chicane as well so you can get an idea of whats happening, Pouhon is great also. Might be handy to go somewhere there is a screen to keep track.

One thing to note, they have made a WRX track at the bottom of Eau Rouge now. I can't remember from before, however on this visit i certainly couldn't walk around the perimeter of the track to get to Eau Rouge, had to go via the infield via Raidillon.

For food inside the circuit there was a token system where you buy tokens in exchange for food/drink at the different outlets, token value looked consistent across the circuit.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

If you find yourself in the town (spa) for dinner then go to dominos. Brilliant steak and there is a good chance you will see one or two drivers in there.

We went to Spa in 2016 and 2017, Bronze tickets both times, sat at Pouhon in '16 and at the Bus Stop in '17, neither are particulaly comfortable really as you're sat on a steep hillside. Pouhon has a better atmosphere as it's a massive crowd there, Bus Stop has way more action on track and I preferred it a lot. Wherever you sit you're legs are going to get a proper workout getting there.

As said Sunday is a really early start to get a good spot.

Edit.

Good news/bad news about the green campsite.

Good - it's at the top of the hill close to the Les Combes entrance (we were at the bottom of the (massive) hill in CampingF1. It's close to the concession stalls and (temporary) bars, good place to sit and have a beer/burger.

Bad - it's pretty noisy apparently (according to a couple we spoke to who were staying there), Europop at 5 am anyone? Take earplugs (won't be any worse then Paul Ricard last year when a group of people turned up at 3am in motorhomes and decided a game of boule and a loud dose of Phil Collins was needed).
