Best place to get F1 tickets?
Discussion
Historically I’ve always gone with Page and Moy on their F1 packages and they obtain the tickets.
Now that my children are a bit older I want to take them to some F1 races but I’ll organise myself. Which site or company should I be using to buy official non over face value non rip off and tickets that actually arrive ?
F1experience web site seems the most legit.
Assuming it goes ahead I’ll be starting them at Silverstone 2020. Thank you

If you want them at face value, just buy them direct from Silverstone. As far as I'm aware, all the agents either charge commission or bundle tickets with something they can make a bit extra on. I've not done an overseas race for a few years but, when I last did, the same applied, buy direct from the circuit if you want to get the best price; Magny Cours and Barcelona even used to offer discounts on face value for early booking.
If you do go to Silverstone, I highly recommend Silverstone grand prix parking. It's an independently run car park outside the circuit, not much further to walk than the circuit car parks but no queuing to leave and fraction of the price of on site.

I've had the complete opposite experience, but I guess it's a question of timing and also just how popular the races are; some of the quieter/less popular races will have more deals going on them and chances are you'll get a better deal through the circuit. I've been to Silverstone, Monza, Spa, Canada, Germany and Baku and in each case, bookf1 offered much better deals for tickets-only punters like me. I found most of the circuits or f1.com wanted to push you towards package deals where the tickets included extra like concert access etc. Many thanks for all the advice and suggestions. I’ve been to the sites suggested and where possible I’ve joined their mailing list to get early alerts for tickets for 2020. I know Silverstone is expensive and I’ve had a cheaper trips to Monaco F1 with 3 days in Nice compared to some of the current ticket prices. But I’ll start with the home one before I go further afield with the family. I’ll take a look at the parking suggestions.
For years now I have bought tickets directly from the circuits websites. They tend to be cheaper as soon as the races are announced often being discounted for 3 day grandstand seats. Can't remember the last time I bought a general entry ticket but I don't recall any special offers on those.

I've used bookf1.com for all 6 races I've been to and highly recommend them. Prices are usually a bit cheaper than f1.com or the circuit's own websites, and they give you the option of purchasing standard tickets only, or as part of a package if that's your thing.
Another vote for BookF1, always use them and never had a problem.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
