Daniel seems a genuinely top chap.

If Toto was also on 20% management commission it makes sense why he slid Bottas into the other Mercedes seat

The contractual wranglings in F1 are fascinating and things like this have been going on as long as I've been watching F1. If I were younger I'd be sorely tempted to retain as a lawyer and go into the area that deals with this stuff.

Of course it's a sport - one that is administered through the instruments of business. Big sport - Big business. Same in many top flight sports.

So using that logic neither is football, boxing, most American sports, athletics etc. Any sport which attracts a large following is big business.
