Not sure if any of you have seen this yet, it's not really F1 related but it's just a cracking video. Alex sounds so much like his father!

That was my first thought. I figured only MB sounded like that, his voice is so unique - turns out, he's bred it!

And yes, one of the best videos he's ever done, on many a level. He looked proud to the point of not knowing how to react at the very end.

Alex has done well for himself, especially given his long illness that put him out for a few seasons just as he was reaching his prime in LMP2/1

Alex is a chip off the old block and like Martin a solid endurance driver. There are a few other videos of them around driving Martin's F3 car and the Silk Cut Jag.

That's interesting. When I watched it I thought he might have had thyroid disease. However I wouldn't have thought that would keep him out for more than a season or so.

I'm about half way through this - it's fascinating.

First time I recall see Martin worried/daunted - by the amount of tech to learn in the car and the challenge of racing on a narrow wet track with c.100 other drivers of varying abilities, experience and machinery.
