Ferrari‘S 1000th F1 Grand Prix
Discussion
Scuderia Ferrari F1 team has competed in 993 F1 Grand Prix races as of the end of the 2019 season. So now with the new 2020 season start announced they will celebrate their 1000th F1 race at the Belgian GP with the Ferrari SF1000.
They were originally going to be racing in their 1000th F1 race at Monaco this year before it got cancelled.
I wonder if they tried to lobby F1 into having the 7th round at Monza so they could hold it there.

So I’m still confused as their 1000th race was the Belgian Grand Prix which was the 7th race of the season.
The race this weekend will be their 1002 race so did they just forget or couldn’t get F1/liberty to switch the calendar around?
I guess it's up to them when they choose to celebrate it - on or after the day itself The race this weekend will be their 1002 race so did they just forget or couldn’t get F1/liberty to switch the calendar around?

And what a celebration it's going to be

I think the engines have competed in two races that the cars didn't compete in (think Sky mentioned it) The race this weekend will be their 1002 race so did they just forget or couldn’t get F1/liberty to switch the calendar around?
Ferrari's first ever GP (as Scuderia Ferrari) would have been sometime in 1933 (when the team was established running Alfa Romeos).
Enzo Ferrari started building his own Grand Prix cars in 1948 so the first Formula 1 Grand Prix entered by Ferrari with a car of its own make would have been in 1948.
The first Formula 1 World Championship Grand Prix entered by Ferrari would have been the 1950 British Grand Prix which was the first ever Grand Prix run in the then new Driver's World Championship.
So, which of the above is the starting point for celebrating "1,000 Grand Prix"?

But this is the 1000th 'F1' GP celebration...
