Why has F1 never wanted to hold the last race in Europe?
Discussion
Jerez in 1997 was an exception only because Renault wanted their final race to be on European soil. Why does F1 hate the idea of the season finale being in Europe?
personally I think the final race should always be in a party city as an and of season celebration event (Sao Paulo was perfect), Abu Dhabi is a horrendously boring city to visit.
Hanoi is also a great and lively city so maybe it could also host the race? (if the circuit is any good).
A street race in Thailand would be perfect!!

It’s a little thing called weather. You may have noticed it gets a bit unpredictable late in the year in Europe. This year they are really pushing it going for Germany in October, there could easily be snow. A more pertinent question is why do You keep starting random threads? Doing a thesis on the response to random questions by F1 fans? I’ll volunteer personally I think the final race should always be in a party city as an and of season celebration event (Sao Paulo was perfect), Abu Dhabi is a horrendously boring city to visit.

But don't fans always say unpredictable weather is what makes great races? Snow may be pushing it to the extreme though haha
No haha, F1 has just been on my mind a lot recently.

Weather - or rather 'heat'. The current tyres aren't designed to operate in the temperature range that could be endured in even the southern parts of Europe in November. Plus European races in winter would push the Asian / Americas races further into their summers which pose the same problems bit at the opposite end of the scale. The Australian GP is, technically, an autumnal race.
Light - Useful light can be limited - particularly if there's a delay in the race due to bad weather, which is also likely.
Bad weather, which is more likely then, can make life difficult for spectators leaving the circuit (or getting to it).

All very valid reasons Light - Useful light can be limited - particularly if there's a delay in the race due to bad weather, which is also likely.
