Now that the season is over, I was just wondering what the prize money situation was ?

Google suggests below.
Apologies for crappy pic & spreadsheet.

Ferrari have had a shocker of a season but still get the biggest share of the prize money. (I know historical blah blah blah)

Conversely, next years entry fee is based on this years scored points. So Mercedes pay much more to enter.

The table contains an error. For the listed values the total is wrong for Williams.

I though Williams got a bonus for historical stuff so maybe the total is right and the other columns are wrong.

Good spot. Column 2 monies should reflect championship position, so this is from maybe 2017?

Why does it include Sauber and Toro Rosso? Where are Alfa Romeo and Alpha Tauri?

It seems to be either out of date or completely fictional. Some team names are wrong, and the prize money doesn't reflect this year's championship finishing order.

It used to be calculated on a couple of previous years finishing positions plus some additional payments made to the teams by individual negotiation.

Entry fee I believe is completely separate to prize money. Prize money comes from FOM/ liberty (whatever its called this week) and the entry fee is paid to the FIA.

The prize money calculation will all be different this year as there is a new concorde agreement in place, which apparently evens up the payments.
