WADA doping ban upheld, but reduced by CAS.

As a consequence, no Russian competitors in any formally recognised World Championship is allowed to compete as a Russian. Must race as a neutral country representative.

Sad for Russian drivers, who really haven’t done anything wrong.

I’d love to know how they don’t play the Russian national anthem at Sochi, with Putin watching from the royal box?

They can. It's just the athletes (or drivers in this case) who cannot compete as Russians.

...in relation to doping at least...

Schadenfreude. Kvyat isn’t there to have to suffer this. Apparently Shwartzman in F2 won’t be affected as it isn’t a world championship.

Just Mazepin to suffer this then. Boo hoo. Also all F1 drivers are starting the season with a summit to discuss driver behaviour. He is only just joining the sport and he’s already earned all of the drivers detention.

Talk about under a cloud. I hope it only gets worse for him.

Surely the headline should really read "not able to race"?
