Monaco 2022 - Ideas/advice
Discussion
Morning everyone,
I am hoping to take a good friend of mine to the Monaco Grand Prix in 2022. It would be for his 60th Birthday and our wives may or may not accompany us!
Money is obviously a factor but being his 60th I really would like to have the best experience possible.
Has anyone done this before, and has any pointers or advice, whose best to book through, stay in Monaco or get the train in each day, hotels etc. etc. tips on best places to watch.
Any advice welcome!
Cheers

The ability to blow the wallet is limitless.
I would avoid the stands, packed in with full on sun with zero shade is really more torture than fun in May. The one place trackside with loads of shade (and the cheapest place) is Tribune Z on the restaurants just past the exit chicane of the tunnel. Also try a day at Rascasse Bar/restaurant where there is flowing food/champers from breakfast with the cars coming straight at you and around the corner to Schumi's infamous parking spot.
Also on race day, there are plenty of balcony apartment views above T1 which also can show about half the track.
Street party after the chequered flag at Slammers and later at Rascasse on the track.
What's not to love ;-)
