Agree. I was praying he wouldn’t do a Vettel in Montreal and he didn’t. Very classy

Good post, couldn't see it happening the other way round if result was different (as should've been). LH44 class aswel as the GOAT.

Happy for Max, I wanted Lewis to win though, the whole thing was a mess, I think LH may have been told to keep it zipped for the time being,

If it's about the interview after the race I just saw on C4, I agree. And nice of him to say the stuff about Covid and people having a good Christmas. He looked on the verge of tears to me though.

Has to be an emotional time for everyone involved, especially after a tough season, even Max was crying .

Well played by Lewis, just hope he has the hunger to come back for the eighth title next year, can’t think that will ever be bettered.

Just as much as Lewis,s graciousness , I thought that Anthony Hamilton,s clearly fulsome congratulations to Max and Jos Vestappen was so becoming of a winning family .

Anthony told him what to say and Lewis stuck to the script. Did well to hold back the tears. Good on him.

If was Lewis were getting beaten all the way from the start he would have found it easier to accept, but he was robbed at the last moment ,hard to swallow.

Absolute class.

The Verstappen camp need to do a lot more than win another 6 WDCs to be Hamilton's equal in my opinion.

Why didnt he drive to position 2 on the track?

Where was he in the press conference after the race?

In direct contrast Max couldn’t even mention Lewis in any post race interview.

What a load of bks. He mentioned him loads, said how special he was as a driver and how he'd made it a tough championship

Ham was definitely beaten at the last minute.

Damon Hill said it was down to RBR's reactive strategy.

Tough day at the office for Ham but he'll get over it and bounce back next year.

Its interesting that we have yet to see a quote from Toto. furious

Lewis has always been a class act, so his reaction was not really surprising
