Is there such thing as a stats database going back to the beginning?

So (for example) I could query it to see who has out-qualified their team mate the most as a percentage - with say a caveat that they’ve had more than 10 qualifying attempts.

Or anything like that?

There's Ergast, but I think it needs more technical literacy than I currently posess:

IIRC, there was a chap called David Hayhoe who used to compile and publish F1 stats via Haynes. I had a copy from one year - the F1 Data Book I think it was called. Compulsive reading for F1 nerds like me!

Might be with trying to track him down or speak to Haynes.

Actually - just done that for you! https://www.facebook.com/david.hayhoe.37

Thanks for that, I might have a play with it when I have some spare time.
