So now we know that F1 is all about the show rather than sport I thought it might be fun to make some predictions on what we might see as if we were in charge of putting the show on, mine as follows

1. Lewis will be allowed to win a race before the end of the year, I predict Brazil as he is already so popular there - Abu Dhabi would be a bit too much on the nose.

2. Red Bull performance will drop off - they will blame having to meet the cost cap.

3. Testing next year Merc and Ferrari will be super fast out of the gate, at the first race Red Bull will still walk it.

Just a bit of silliness really so don't take it too seriously...

Hard to disagree.

I await a point where Lewis wakes up and it was all a dream (well, a damn nightmare being robbed of the WDC but still).

Can't use the term "Robbed"!!!!!! That's disrespecting Verstappen and Red Bull apparently and they'll stop doing interviews with you!!!

There's plenty of potential new markets for F1 to spread into, with some great landscapes and little chance of rain either.

Iran
Iraq
Pakistan
The Death Star
Somalia
Afghanistan
Blofeld's Volcano Lair
Syria

I mean, what sort of motorsport history do the likes of France and Germany have anyway? Pointless to hold a race there.

They’ll never get rid of Silverstone, the Hanger straightaway is too iconic!

The fact you've called it "straightaway" just shows me how low we've sunk.

Or am I missing a parrot or two....

F1 cars can supposedly drive upside down, right?

Let's add a straight that gradually inverts. You either hit it at 170mph or you land onto your head.

The Grand Pris of Gibralter is an obvious classic to bring back...

...on the sprint theme, a 10 lapper at Mallory or Lydden..
Street circuits such as Pau.
Three laps of the Targa Florio route. (Its why F1 cars are targa-tops afterall...)

And of course the 'ring.

You simply cannot have this sort of conversation without including the 'ring. The scene of so much glory, mystique and wonder.

Thats right, an Economy run on the Nardo Ring in Italy. 10l fuel, 30mph average. Longest distance wins.

It did make me chuckle when they had a strop about that and refused to speak to Sky. 90% of Sky watchers cheered as we didnt have to listen to those whining gas bags for a weekend. Was bliss.

Lets add a northern UK street race, just to balance the UK involvement?

I propose "F1 Circuit de Grimsby"

I think they should have a doubleheader at the Three Sisters circuit in Wigan.

Despite complaints, the UK GP is moved to the Rockingham oval as it is familiar to our American fans!!

I’d vote for Rockingham.
Great viewing of the whole circuit from the grandstands.

With the influence of Liberty and the Netflix series, F1 will become more US friendly.

(1) Drivers will now be armed for the shoot out.

(2) The safety car will be a Ford Raptor

(3) There will be 35 cars on the grid

(4) More American races:
Hawaiian GP
Arkansas GP and Rodeo
Utah Drag Sprint

The show must go on.
