Also just had the BBC alert ... I wonder how bland the press release will be?

Well now. Wasn't expecting this!!

This will certainly fill the gap until the next race.

Can't wait to hear more about this...incredible.

This is more less confirmation that Max is going elsewhere for 26

It's either that or the Verstappen camp (in this case likely Jos) gave RBR and ultimatum

Given that Jos was very keen to get rid.... couldn't you argue the opposite?

Mekies named CEO is what i've seen reported- TP not mentioned in the Red bull statement quotes that i can see anywhere so could be a twist yet to come

Mekies is a really good hire, he's been a great TP of a junior team. It's going to be a bumpy few years, but he isn't responsible for the current trajectory, so if LM can turn things around it'll look very good.

Wache needs to go. Remember Horner saying that AN is just one man and we have Pierre Wache? The heavily beshat bed that Wache is currently wallowing in suggests that wasn't a good move.

That's what I was thinking.

Like him or not he's done a lot for the sport and this is a huge call from RB*.

*assuming there isn't more damning debauchery imminent

Horner out
Oakes just installed at Alpine and Flavio being reported as heading out the door

Maybe we'll see Horner and Oakes combine to buyout a chunk or even all of 75% of alpine that renault owns.
