What's Anthony Hamilton cooking up? A new V10 series?

Interesting.

I miss proper sounding F1 cars so much...

World Motorsport Festival as one of the other trademarks he's registered. I wonder if he's launching an F1 specific historic event/series?

It sounds great on paper but a recipe for expensive failure in practice....

If only there was a really high profile F1 driver, a world renowned icon, who was coming to the end of his career and could be part of the launch of this new series?

hehe

Apparently Pastor Maldonado is at a loose end these days.

I don't think it will be allowed to succeed if it looks like it will take even a single dollar away from F1.

very ambitious , but weve seen lots of single seat and other championships come and go, is there room for another?
As with all these ideas, great but where is the money coming from?
That all said, good luck to him.

The FIA will inevitably assign it zero points towards a super licence and effectively make it a dead-end for any young drivers aspiring to get to F1.

Formula Premiere (I think that's what it was called), GP Masters and A1 GP spring to mind.

A1GP had the greatest propensity to succeed and looked like it might for a while. All the ingredients were there and had some cracking racing on some interesting tracks. Essentially a single-make F1 championship. But, once the owner and financier got bored, the money disappeared and that was that.

They could assign the winner ten super licence points just like with the F1 academy series. Both series will have they same zero percent chance of the winner ending up in F1.

If it gets that far then probably Cosworth or Judd.

F1 has the mystique and history thats only been magnified massively the last few years. Very hard for anything else to not look pedestrian.
However its very exclusive and locked away behind huge and expensive paywalls.
And its not really the best 20 drivers on the planet, lol.
Maybe 5or 6 of them are,but come on.
They may know something over at Formula HybridV10 but usually viewers struggle with other series.
There was that dakar type car thing that rosberg and hamilton supposedly ran teams in
and it was just uninteresting for some reason. Probably due to the production and the Green claptrap tagged on to it.
If HybridV10 start banging on about sustainability and inclusivity its the kiss of death apart from for the 5 or so enthusiastic people being paid to say sustainability and inclusivity lol.

no way Cosworth have capacity for this

they are very full of Bugatti V16, GMA V12's of 3 flavours, RB17 V10 and other smaller stuff
