Far too early to say, but there is likely to be some fall out from his comments. Ultimately the race team will decide whether what’s been said is a step too far for them and their other sponsors, or whether it’s a storm in a teacup. In the short term Radcliffe has done himself no favours IMO.

Hilarious, he was asked a question, and answered the same way basically 13 million voted a few years ago, and he needs to apologise. Jesus wept.
How about you apologise 2 tier for geing a useless, feckless cretin.
Don't insult so many Brits by equating them with him.How about you apologise 2 tier for geing a useless, feckless cretin.
His comments were utterly stupid, rooted in basic racism and on top, the figures he used were absolute and total rubbish. His miserable excuse for an "apology" was nothing of the sort either.
Given that he's a tax exile scumbag (saving himself £4bn in the process that would have been very useful given how skint the country is) who is now giving out about our country, then frankly, he can get in the sea.
I know plenty who have worked directly with him in the recent past, particularly at Athena racing and the Team GBR Americas Cup project. None have a good word to say about the man.
That still doesn't mean the Ineos brand needs to be removed, but he's hardly doing a good marketing job for it right now.

The UK spends £4bn every nine days just servicing its debt. That is money literally wasted.AFAIC Ratcliffe is doing the right thing avoiding his hard-earned disappearing into that pointless black hole.
The country is skint because of successive governments' profligacy, not because of businesses refusing to service the fallout of that profligacy.

I doubt the other brands will care considering their brands are plastered all over cars currently testing in a country that human rights watch currently referred to as "dismal". Ratcliffes opinions are pretty tame compared to the countries F1 visits and helps sports wash.
Im not overly bothered by any of it but of all the stuff to get upset about its pretty minor.
Dietrich Mateschitz views on such matters made Farage look like a lefty liberal. A lot of effort was exerted by many in Red Bull to keep a lot of that out of the public gaze but it was there for those interested to see.
As we see many times over, morals and decency are life's back-markers to power and money.

It is easy to casually avoid engaging with something that otherwise makes you cast doubt on your world view. For every high profile case like Ratcliffe (or Dyson or whoever) there are countless others who quietly decide not to help the government continue their addiction to pissing money up the wall. Is it scummy to prevent an addict from continuing with their addiction?
Debt Crisis.
Anyway - OT.
