After an enjoyable British GP we’re at another classic circuit, Spa Francorchamps, for what is always a great race.

Weather (like last year) might mix things up, but the power-units will be exposed here again, so expect to see a lot of 500hp F1 cars at the end of the straights.

Mercedes will clearly be up there, with Antonelli probably leading the way. It will be interesting to see if Leclerc/Ferrari can repeat their Silverstone performance level here. There will be a lot of focus on what rear wing Red Bull turns up with.

Antonelli gets my vote for the win, he had George on toast at Silverstone.

Here’s to a great race.

Cheers, as always, PiaP - always appreciate your work getting these threads going.

I think Kimi will be back at the top this weekend with Lewis and either Charles or George.

Thank you PiaP. Reliable as a Swiss banker wink

Will the cars reach the top of Eau Rouge flat out, or will the algorithm make it a charging point for Radillon? Hmm, desp8te all the "action" this year, I am not yet convinced the formula works as a proper fight on track.

Russell to win this one.

Sadly I suspect this will be worst track we’ve seen so far for the new power units. Let’s not expect too many TV pictures of the cars at the end of the Kemmel Straight, nor on the run from Blanchimont down to the chicane at the end of the lap.

Crofty will however think that all of the ‘overtaking’ is awesome.
