I find it quite frustrating that many car manufacturers offer a very limited and quite boring choice of colours for their cars. However, I've found that Audi, through their Audi Exclusive scheme, will paint your car any colour you like if you give them a sample to match the paint to. One dealer even displayed a pink Audi TT matched to a nail varnish sample to promote the scheme.

I also read an article about a woman who had a Mini Cooper S sprayed pink with a pink leather interior to match her handbag and a guy who bought a Mini Cooper S with mirror effect bodywork for his wife, but couldn't get insurance for it. This got me wondering if their really is demand out there for colours other than the supposedly resale friendly black, grey and silver which is all most manufacturers seem to offer and if people would choose more interesting colours if they could have what they wanted and didn't worry about resale values and what they think the next owner of their car wants. After all, I've looked at houses for sale and people seem to paint the walls of their houses weird colours.

I like yellowy-green.

On a serious note, blue. Azure blue on 350Z. Or darker on M5.

There isn't really a set in stone favourite colour. Different colours suit different shapes.

I like to see cars in bright/unusual colours (except for pink). Yellow in particular.

It depends on the car IMO. On most cars, I love whatever deep blue colour the manufacturer has as standard. On more lairy cars, it has to be a proper ASBO colour - the almost neon green offered by Lambo or the orange special edition M3 released a while ago.

I've always wanted an orange Porker. Dont know why :/ If it varied like the sunset/sunrise, even better!

Totally agree with certain cars suit certain colours. If, say, I had a new Fabia VRS, it would be a nice bright aggressive ASBO colour.

Really think the RX7's suit Yellow.

Would depend on the car, but can't go far wrong with a medium metallic blue. Red is pretty much my least favourite colour, but I've somehow owned more of that colour than any other
