Crashed Clio, boot not closing and bent floor

Quick question.
One of the lasses at work had someone run into the back of her at the weekend. She thought the car was fine although swapped insurance details anyway. Later she realised the boot wouldn’t open, then it wouldn’t close easily, the carpet in the back is lifted and floor is dented/bent.
I’ll go and have a look later but just wondering people thoughts and what I should look for in particular.
Can this sort of thing be fixed?

What Clio is it?
A friend drove into the back of my '02 172 Cup (in his identical 172 Cup no less!
). At the time I thought only the rear bumper had been dislodged slightly but when I took it to a bodyshop the guy promptly lifted the boot carpet to reveal a nice crease in the wheel-well of the boot floor. They managed to pull that out, only evidence being I now had nice painted boot floor where normally they are left primer.
How hard was the hit? Mine was fairly gentle as it happened pulling away from a junction (friend thought I had gone when I had'nt). The boot remained fully functional which was why I initially thought it wasn't too serious.

A friends Peugeot 106 Rallye which has a book value of £2,500 was declared a write off, you'd never have known this from the outside as the bumpers/plastics simply flexed on the impact, but it was the boot floor which took the impact and creased.
Chassis damage is usually a write off for a car of that value.
Nonetheless, it won't be her fault if she was shunted from behind

Similar happened to my 53 plate micra and had it not been a 6 month old car at the time it would have probably been written off - £1000+ just to fix the damage plus courtesy car time of about 2 weeks.
Initially it looked like a cracked bumper but boot floor was crumpled, boot wouldn't open or shut easily and there was a 1" either side of the rear bench seat. Clearly the crumple zones worked though.

bye bye Cliomy 206 got rear ended twice when it was 18 months old and again when it was 2 years old. it had 2 new boot floors and one rear wing replaced (different one each time) as well as lights, tailgate, suspension mounts etc. - everything from axle backwards. It was repaired both times it happened so i wouldn't dismiss it straight away as although mine was newer it had by the sounds of it far more damage. It was sold 9 months later.
