Whats with snobby people and overtaking ?

I keep coming across situations where people, (especially women in Mercedes Benz A class etc) will block you from overtaking them in the outside lane, even to the point where there is no one in the inside lane.

I was driving home earlier and a civic driver wouldnt let me overtake him, he overtook a stream of cars then just sat there in the outside lane, eventually he moved over, but so slowly that i couldnt get past, and then veered back into the outside lane again....but no one was in the inside lane ?

I swear people think they can police the road!? These same people never use their indicators either, go straight over roundabouts instead of going round them.

What is it, "ive got a better car than you therefore you cant overtake me?"

Also come across van drivers who make it their mission in life to overtake you, like ill do them in top gear and they will drop gears, tailgate, overtake you on double whites etc...and then when they complete their mission they drive 20mph under the limit!!! :S
