I do not want to know how much money was lost on this.

Someone had the bright idea to import 41- 2010 Renault people carriers into the US to convert them to EVs. For some reason, this harebrained scheme fell through, so now they're trying to offload them. A couple of problems:

-- no customs paperwork
-- no VINs
-- no Department of Transportation compliance

- and --

no drivetrains.

So if you are a unique snowflake in the US with a fat wallet, or like large paperweights, this is the auction for you!

I have no idea what they originally hoped to achieve.

Wouldn't it be less expensive at this point to just transport them back to the country of origin. Hey, even at a collosal loss I reckon some money is better than no money right.

Surprised that James May hasn't bought them.
