Decent Hire Car in the UK

[MJDavis]

All,
I will be in England for wedding in August, and I was thinking about renting a car and spending a few days driving around England, Wales, Scotland (maybe). Any suggestions on where I can get a "fun" car for the week? Manual transmission, coupe, relatively quick, moderate storage space (so, kind of like a 911). I've checked the big rental companies, but all they have are automatics or tiptronics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
