Thank you f430.

Picture the scene, leaving a mini roundabout, into the lanes, in the middle of the night. Firstly a White van man, the me (megane sport) then a beautiful F430. (with stripes)
The Van is dordalling, the F430 must be 50yds back. Open road with good visability ahead, so I take the move. the fezza is a bit hesitant at first, looking and falling back in line. I've now got somewhere around a 499yd lead and have settled again (I wouldn't be lucky enough for a spirited fezza owner).
Then much to my surprise, he does it, he takes the move. Now in my rear view mirrror I have the low down lights of the fez, ibtimidating me into what would ordinarily be a quivering mess. But NO mr Ferrari owner, (que strongbox ad music) not today, for today I have had my brave biscuits.
We are both caught up behind a rather slow moving corsa (maybe in comparison to our 'warp' speed pace). Untill, eventually, after very late indication, the circa has turned off. I'm faced with the long and dark road ahead, silent and ever so inviting. Calling my name, however warning me that the car behind me may well be about to embarress me untill I give in and retire to the corner.
Suddenly, I find my man balls again, and 'it's on',
I floor it, the Fezza leans on the accelerator for the same effect as I had. For a good few miles I am being hounded by what has long been my favourite car of them all. To this day and probably for a long while yet, not that I can guarantee this yet, this will be the fondest memory of the F430.
Every corner in slinging my car in, within reason, I don't want to end up backwards in a field with a verg smug Fezza driver laughing at me (mwahahaha, mear peasant). Much to my surprise, through these windy country roads I have not managed to shake him yet. Until it is over, we reach the town, and I do the responsible thing a calm us both down, before I wet myself (or worse).
(que music again)
So thank you fellow motoring enthusiast. For reinstating my faith in motoring exotica owners, for letting me believe that I am quick, and for putting the PRIDE BACK IN BRITAIN.
I SALUTE YOU SIR!!!

Now if you were in a Smart Roadster...
Hahaha!I was on a dual carriageway overtaking a couple cars a few weeks ago and a black Gallardo comes up behind doing the speed limit, not tailgating me, so I pulled into the left hand lane and he just let rip.
Was amazing to see and hear.
I didnt realise the submit button at the bottom of the new post meant 'submit for editing.'
There seems to be more and more people taking on an editorial role rather than contributing at the moment.
Anyway, it's awesome when someone demonstrates their car for you, let alone having a blast down some good roads with you! Just because the Ferrari is multiples in value of your car, doesn't mean he can't enjoy a good blat too
