Saw this car on The Professionals.

Some sort of muscle 70s coupe, looks a bit like a Maser Bora, or maybe Jap, but the badge on the grilled looks like a cross...

Watch from 7:08...

Bloody hell you guys are good - 2 minutes!! Had just remembered about imcdb and found the link myself. Looking at the badge now you can see the vertical bits and the pony...

I assume this was during the Mustang's "dark days" hehe

umm, accept they where good cars. Fast for their day, powerful, tunable. Fairly light weight.

6.5sec 0-60mph and 140mph+ faster in some guises.

I guess its a subjective thing and I agree not as striking looking as a 60's example.

But I quite like these in an understated unfussy way. I think they sort of look like a muscle bound bouncer in a posh suit, to phrase an analogy.

Those 80's Mustang's are vomit - they look like a Datsun Bluebird!

Sorry, will had in my membership immediately!

FWIW the Saxondale Mustang I would recognise immediately, but that brown looks very different IMHO. All that plastic at the front makes me think Datsun or something!

To me a muscle car should have the looks to go with the power.
As you say, the 60s was pretty much the pinicle, although the recent crop seem to be getting back to being angry looking like they should be smile

I'd bet if someone put an American V8 in a Fiat Multipla you'd still love it despite the looks tongue out
