The one where Jezza reflects on the future demise of the petrol engine whilst driving, possibly in a Jaguar XKR. A lot of people regard this piece as one of the best things he's done. Was it the last episode of a recent series???

I'm trying to track down a piece of music which I 'think' was used on it.

...and it is the best bit of top gear IMHO ever. total class. it was also the last episode not in HD (which would have been even better)

It's a very good piece. And Clarkson's right. Make hey while the sun shines and all that.

Right then; off to B&Q to buy some very small lightbulbs. In my 5.0 V8.

So much so that it seems to have cropped up, often completely inappropriately, in all manner of crap programmes ever since. Which has ruined it somewhat.

That would be the one that everyone that complained about because he didn't talk about the boot size while screaming POWER sliding sideways around a track that he has done a million times before

Cracking piece of music, goes best with what it went with originally; a 1989 documentary about the Apollo program called 'For All Mankind'.
