Cars you like, but could never see yourself in.

Morgan comes immediately to mind here. Love the build quality, looks of the 2 seater cars, the sound and go of a +8 or modren Aero.

But just couldn't see myself in one at all. The beardiness, the real ale CAMRA man with a head-scarfed WI wife imagery, and saying I own a Morgan would sound strange coming from my mouth, almost as though I wanted to live the quintisential Englishman.

In fact my wife works with an American who is a complete Anglophile down to his Gieves & Hawkes suits and he drives a Morgan.

Could see myself in a Bristol, but not a Morgan.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Fords are much, much more popular in Essex than anywhere else in the country. Anyone know if this is so?

Are you living in the 1970's?

Very well built and durable these days and the last part of your statement is just completely wrong.

The brand for me would be Bristol.

I loke the fact they are eccentric and very different but I couldnt ever imagine paying to own one.

Same here, but I do have a particular disliking to the bling on recent Fords, both inside and out. However well they drive/handle I just couldn't.

Reading these, I'm agreeing with Subaru - Never appealed at all

Ford - Learnt to drive in one and that's it really.

Bentley - Don't like the modern image at all.

Ferrari - I'll never have the money for a decent done, so the thought of an affordable Modial or unreliable 400i doesn't really appeal either.

Saab - Quite like, but the recent cars have just been dull GM re-hashes and as for the older cars, well there are far more things I'd rather spend my money on.

Lancia, specifically the delta integrale. I know it's good and unreliabiltyness (new word. ) is overplayed. But just seems a bit... Meh!

And Ferrari too. Don't know why but I'm just not fussed by them!
