To the sort of person who buys a Veyron, those two things are probably considered downsides!

I think the main "Veyron beater" question will be answered by the top speed. Relevant for driving 99% of the time? No. Relevant for ultimate super/hypercar credentials? Oh yes.

More Powerful
Faster top speed
More expensive.

They're mistaken if there's a big market for driver's cars in that price range I reckon.

You base that weight prediction on the 12c weighing 1400kg and the Bug 1880kg.
Veyron (291) has outsold F1 (65) at a time when the economy is a bit "odd" too

I hope McL will do something that isn't "target" based like the Bug was. I'd much rather they did a car as close as possible in ethos to the F1.
