Looking at getting my rather tired wheels on the e90 refurbed and stumbled across this lot:

You pay upfront, they send you the replacement wheels, you swap onto the car, then send them the old ones back. Sounds pretty easy - just wondering whether it's cost effective. They want £270 for mine which are:

Anyone have any experience of this kind of service or even this company?

the owner does come on here so maybe you should pick up the telephone. The benefits are you do not have to wait, a set could be waiting for you. The downsides are that you don't know the quality of the wheel, after saying that if you get one that looks repaired you could always get one of yours back again.

We get this a lot, regarding the state of wheels we take off exchange, try sending us a buckled or split one back you'll lose a chunk of deposit, we scrap all knackered wheels

i bought a set of exchange wheels off these guys for my dads slk around 3 months ago, booked over the phone, drove to blackpool, fitted, balanced and heading to the front for some fish and chips half an hour later with spanking refurbed wheels fitted, top class service and very friendly, would (and have) recommend.
