... Well on the motorway driving home as you do and I heard the burble of a rather exotic car.

The AMS murtaya and being honest now I don't know much about these beasts. I seem to remember a thread about one a while back, based on an impreza so goes fairly quickly. The noise though was lovely and would love to see it perform on a track.

For those that know any more about them please fill be in... On my phone so can't post a picture anyone any experiences?

Power could be pretty much whatever you want (depending on how deep your pockets are of course) between 250-800+ bhp

I have been following the Murtaya progress for years. I proper roadgoing missile. Think Elise mixed with an Impezza.

The only problem is the kit alone is around £15,000 + donor car + paint + help building it unless you're very good. So you're looking at £20,000 as an absolute minimum, really £25,000 to a half decent spec.

Love the car, just a tad pricey for me.

Very nice these. Sadly they are a bit like an RX-8 or an American car.

As in lots seem to hate and comment. Usually for no real reason and with no actual experience.

I haven't actually been in one either. But lets face it, less weight than an Impreza and better looking. What's not to like about them? smile

What colour was it?
I have a Navy / Black one and to be honest the fun when driving is awesome, www.murtayasportscars.co.uk are the new owners of the project and have made some excellent improvements over the previous (my) model so have a look and they are happy to chat.
