I hate cars that let in loads of light. They make me feel exposed (in before the jokers) and open. I had an estate with rear and side tinted windows (except the front two) and it was lovely. It was really cosy in winter two when it was raining.

My next car had a sunroof which i always made sure the shade was over it, because it let too much light in.

I think so, yes.
Although I sort-of-in-a-strange-way like having the roof up on the Mx5, I don't know why, just do. But not as much as I like it down!

I love cars with black headlining, I'm not sure why.

I do - you can't beat a car that's dark and modern inside, at dusk/night, with a nice set of dials, preferably which are illuminated bright white with red needles! biggrin I'm abit of a sucker for nice dials/dashboard.

Me too. I've also got a childish obsession with tints.

Not drug dealer tints, but factory ones.

Yes, it's very important to me. I loved how snug and dark my MX5 was with the roof up. My Volvo is like that too. Very snug and dark, even though most of the interior materials are grey. There us a dimmer switch for the dials and instruments/controls which I keep in the brightest setting. I do quite a lot of night driving as I often finish work at midnight or in the early hours so good dial colour is important.

Nah can't stand them. Pale on the inside is best, and not too dark on the outside either...never liked black cars and it's not just the drug dealer image.

The darker the better for me.

The latest acquisition has a black hood, black leather, black carpets, black trim, etc - and it's a wonderful place to be.. cloud9

Not a fan of black leather (suits some classics only), and I'd never buy a car specced inside to resemble a self-harming teenagers bedroom.

Yes.

All the cars I have owned have had black cloth/leather, black headlining and more black.

And tinted windows.

Hate light car interiors.

I love dark interiors. The darker and closer it feels, the better. As such, I love supercars with real "bunker effect" interiors, like the Countach, Diablo and the Jaguar XJ220.

My current car has a black dash, black seats, black carpets, black roof lining etc. Some reviews I read said it was too "boy racer", but for me it's perfect. Especially at night, when all the dials are lit up in red, it's such a nice place to be biggrin

All my daily drivers have had black or grey interiors, current is an Audi A4. I don't like coloured seats or interior trim but that's maybe because I've got used to VAG cars which tend to be sombre inside.

I also drive a '63 Riley which is the exact opposite, the car is pale blue and it has matching blue seats. It's considerably smaller than the Audi but the light colours make it seem quite spacious.
