Bit of a weird one, when I lock my car now all other doors lock apart from the drivers door, which is the door with the physical lock that i'm turning.

I would assume that this is not a problem with my central locking as all other doors lock, I have also removed the door card and the cable is connected from the internal door lock to outer door lock?

Please help me smile

Not a clue?
About what to do about it, don't want to go to Mazda as they'll pull my pants down. Would a standard mechanic be interested?

With door card off, turn the key. Does the central locking solenoid fire?

Could be a faulty solenoid, which won't be the most expensive fix ever smile

This is a total guess but I'm thinking that when you turn the key it operates the central locking for all doors & doesn't mechanically lock the drivers door, so probably the drivers door lock actuator is knackered. If you've already got the door card off check if there's power getting to the actuator.

ETA.. Beaten to it by kiltox
