Pagani Huayra On Track - Video
'Starting, revving, acceleration and fly-bys' at Adria International
YouTube contributor Marchettino has posted approximately 4 minutes of reasons to lust after the new Pagani Huayra, after filming it on test at the Adria International Raceway in Italy.
We should probably thank AMG and Italy's equivalent of 'Mike the Pipe' for the (relatively) riotous noises, but the car itself looks and sounds a million dollars, we reckon. (Although given that Pagani's latest hypercar costs something in the region of a million pounds, does that mean there's room for improvement?)
Either way, if you have to ask, etc. For more spec go here first, or just click play...

I like the car, and i like that it looks a little more subtle than the Zonda. No doubt it will perform and drive amazingly BUT a car like that should really make some spine tingling intoxicating sounds and i know its got a pair of turbo's robbing some aural quality but.....
I bet Pagani have a titanium super sport exhaust option available for something like £25,000 (because you just know that everyone would willingly pay for it to get the sound the car should have)

Why do these people always get amateur numpties to film such things?

Actually this is one of the better videos to relay the sound of an engine rather than all those obnoxious videos all over youtube trying to demonstrate the sounds of their new 'zorst' and think that the best way to do this is to stick the camera on the floor right behind the exhaust and then go and rev the tits off of whatever it is, bouncing it off the limiter whilst all you actually hear is just horrible horrible distortion.
No thanks.
This video was actually well made for an amateur.

The rear end of this car is just hideous! It looks like some silver coloured bodywork has fallen off, leaving a big black rectangle exposed.
Shame they still haven't told us how to pronounce the name.
I predict that at some point in the car's life it will receive a facelift where the black bits become body coloured (and £50,000 more expensive). Shame they still haven't told us how to pronounce the name.
