Insurance Company Needed For Non-Uk Reg Porsche - Help

Doing some digging for a mate who needs to insure his 997 GT3 for 2 weeks in the UK this summer. The car is registered in Dubai and he's having a lot of difficulty finding someone to insure him. Any suggestions?

Pretty sure most insurers will only cover UK registered cars.

Cheapest way will be to get his Dubai insurers to extend the policy to cover the uk ( if possible)for the 2 weeks
