I only ever drove one once from garage to work for the boss at the time who was an utter twonk.
So I had a test which he did say was fine to do but not too silly.

This was nearly 15 years ago now.
Engine did sound really good it's 3cylinder and boy did it feel fast - I drove a rover 216se efi f reg at the time c100bhp.

What's the ph view of this car? Worth searching for in the classifieds or whatever

They didn't half look odd though. Give me a slammed XR3i with a svelte scorpian straight though nice and understated. Lovely.

They're an interesting little thing. Power to weight in them must be great because they weigh about as much as my right shoe. I imagine finding a decent one these days would be extremely hard.

Have a look here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I owned it for a couple of years.

It is hard to find an unmolested one but they are a hoot.

I bought one new in 1992 and it was absolutly fantastic.
Great fun, light, chuckable good MPG, all electrics, reliable and quicker than Clio 16v/ Nova GTE/ XR2is at the time.

I bought another 4 years ago and restored it, wish I never bothered.
After an engine rebuild, all new brakes, New Apex springs, new exhaust plus whatever else i spent on it, it never was the same. cars like that are best left in the pastfrown
