had a bit of a chuckle just now biggrin
on the way into work this morning i was cut up on a roundabout by a woman in a silver hyundai somethingorother (not badly, but it warranted a short pip of the horn) and she neglected to raise a habd in apology, just did the usual 'head down, don't look in the mirror' routine. thought nothing of it, until she turned into my works car park...... anyway, she goes round the multi storey and then stops dead in front of the entrance (where security are). at this point i think "WTF are you doing??" and go around her, park in my usual spot and go into work, thinking nothing more of it.

cue to this afternoon, and one of the operations managers comes over to me and asks " hello Lee, did you get cut up on the way to work this morning?"
i reply "yeah, why?"

well it seems that the woman works in HR, was scared witless that i was following her, waited for me to go past her and then parked quickly and got the ops manager to check the carpark to see if some hooligan was looking for her laugh when they checked the CCTV to see who it was, he almost wet himself laughing, then came and told me biggrin

so i popped up to see her, she was most embarrassed, but apologised for cutting in front of me laughclap

doesn't seem so funny writing it down, but it made me chuckle biggrin

One of my ex-colleagues drives like a bit of a loon. He was called away to reception when he'd just arrived at work and when he came back he was covered head to toe in McD's chocolate milkshake. He'd cut somebody up who'd followed him to work and asked the receptionist for "The guy who drives the Alfa Romeo". When he arrived in reception, she promptly chucked milkshake all over him. smile

about 3 months ago a mate of mine, had a run in with some knob jockey in a jeep as he drove into work. he got into another lane at lights and this guy was still having a go as he had been beeped at.

anyway my mate tootles off and carried on to work, vaguely aware the jeep is about 6 - 10 cars back, gets to work parks up and goes in.

less than 10 minutes later gets a call from reception, your guy for the meeting is here. mate goes down to meet him and yes its the guy from the jeep, at which point my mate says 'there is no way you and your firm are getting my business, f**k off'.

the jeep guy was there to quote on some new equipment, anyway he gets on his high horse and starts moaning about getting the boss etc, so my mate says 'ok' goes to go up stairs, then stops and says 'oh yeah that would be me, f**k off now'

must be good to own your own company sometimes smile

my mate drives a pick-up as he makes fitted kitchens for a living.
