There was a screw in one of the rear RFT's on the Z4. Was meaning to replace the Bridgestone's with FK452's as they were verging on the limit, just not this month!!!!!!!. The brake pads were verging on the limit too..

So four new FK452's, new front brake pads, wheel balance and a full alignment turns into a very expensive day!!!!!! eek

And all i went in for was for a full alignment.

So the car (excluding fuel) has cost me approx 3p for every mile i have ran it. Pretty cheap considering...but still....banghead

you mean £3 per mile, right? if it is 3p per mile for a Z4 where do i sign?

Imagine how you would feel needing tyres and brakes on a £500 snotter!

If this was a RapidQuickFastFudge place, I hope you checked the pads yourself.

Last time I used one, they asked for £613. I got it fixed by an independent specialist round the corner for £75.

True, that's (potentially) worse- hits wallet pretty hard.
