A different kind of car designer....

Seems to be a lot of TVR enthusiasts on this site, so maybe someone knows the answer to this.

Is it true that when the Chimera was being designed, Peter Wheeler's (possibly the coolest guy to ever own a car company, R.I.P. dude) dog ran in and bit a chunk out of the clay mock-up, and said bite became the indicator hole? I'd love if it were true. Does anyone have any other stories like this?? I bet you guys have a few good'uns......

I remember reading that in a Car magazine article at the time. I think the dog was called Ned.
