In 25 years driving this has never happened to me....

On Saturday I pick up a brand new motorbike cloud9
On Thursday I am on the Hull-Zeebrugge ferry for a weekend away.

Normally I carry all my docs, as per the law. However this time I will not have a V5. What should I do?

Aren't you going to run over the first service threshold ? And won't it be a bit boring with the running-in process ?

In that previous 25 years how many times have you been asked to produce the documents?

You'll probably have the V5 by then anyway.
I picked up a new TT600 when they first came out.
On day one I drove it via A/B roads from London to Sheffield.
Day 2 back to London for the first service.
Then day 3 took it to Sweden.

That's what I was thinking.

As to points above
- first service (600 miles), booked in Thursday 9am.
- I have been stopped several times over the years (never done).
