O/T I know, but caught my interest.
Discussion
I know media companies are biased and so word their articles carefully so as to garner the "correct" reactions from their readers, but this article today caught my eye:
BBC News on 19 year old "paedo"
BBC News on 19 year old thug
Are we supposed to vilify the "man" while somehow forgiving the "youth"? Of course, it's society's fault that this youth is feral isn't it?
Sorry, I just take offence at this rather obvious attempt at manipulation. Does anyone else get annoyed at the wording of articles? Especially when it's two articles written by the same organisation.

BBC said:
A 19-year-old man has admitted 13 sex offences linked to an investigation into the exploitation and abuse of up to 20 children in south Devon...
Contrast the wording with this:BBC News on 19 year old thug

A 19-year-old youth has appeared in court in connection with an armed robbery on a post office...
I'm not defending either man/youth as they're both scum. My point is this: why does a (16 at time of first offence) 19 year old who has sex wi... sorry, abuses girls as young as 13 get classed as a man, while a 19 year old who runs around with a crossbow, stealing from shops get classed as a youth? Are we supposed to vilify the "man" while somehow forgiving the "youth"?
