Looking for an estate or 4 door family hatch/saloon.

Needs to be manual, diesel, less than 60k (ideally) sporty and made within the last 4-5 years. Budget is about 8-9k, 10k max for the perfect example.

In honesty, im struggling.

I'd love a 3-Series 320d M Sport (with idrive would be even better) but finding a low price one that hasnt driven to the moon and back is impossible. I dont want a standard se/es because they look a bit st.

Lexus IS is a beautiful car with horrible interior.
Octavia VRS is also lovely, except i hate the front end.
Already had 3 Vectras, dont like the insignia.
Dont like the new mondeo, currently have an old Mondeo.
Audi A4/Avant. Same as the 3 series, s-line is hard to find, most have done lots of miles, not keen on the standard grey interior they offer.
Honda accord/Toyota Avensis/Mazda/Nissan/Saab/VW i dont like the look of.
Dont want an Alfa
Discover 3/C-Class (new shape) too expensive.
X Type is lovely but im only in my twenties, dont think a jag would fit my image just yet.
Citroen/Peugeot - dont like frnech cars.

So erm.... after looking over what i've just typed........... looks like i might be keeping my current car a little while longer.... rofl

You'd get a Chrysler 300C for that money, but it would be an auto.

A tidy 06/07 Volvo S60 D5 can be had for under 9 grand, why not have a look at one?

MG ZT/TT? Not quite within your age criteria, but it looks brilliant and you'll have at least 5k in your pocket.
