Originally, I wanted either a 130i or 335i or even an M3. But then next generations of both of these are coming next year, if not sooner. If I'm getting an E90 M3 though, I'd care less about the generation change.
I've driven my friend's Golf R, and I was mightily impressed. Not so much about the waiting list, though.
