My car history is fwd hatches (fiesta, civic, c2). Now 20, insurance is a little more friendly so looking to get something else

I want something different
Small, light, RWD
£2000 budget
feel fast
easy to maintain
cheap insurance

I know you all like the mx5 on here, but is there anything else similar in the price bracket, as it seems to be the perfect car, add some slightly dished wheels, arches and lowering.

So over to you guys, is there anything else I should consider?

Insurance quotes for a 200sx still to high, and also uneconomical.
Will have a look at mr2s.
