What car posters were really on your wall?
Discussion
You know how when people talk or write about a Countach or Testarrosa and invariably it will be mentioned, "yeah I had a poster of that on my wall".
As much as I really want a Countach and be able to say I had a poster of it on my wall, I don't think I did, nor the Testarossa. Though I have a niggling feeling that I may have had the Countach.
What definatly I know I had was a black RS500 Sierra Cosworth (from Fast Ford magazine) a white Cosworth and an RX-7, the rest I don't recall.
So did you have that poster and did you get that car off your wall? Or any other car? I'm still working on mine!

Had the usual bunch of red framed pictures from Athena. Ferrari, Lambo, Porker, and I think a Black Panther or something?
Had a big picture of Louise Nerding up there, plus a few more over the years too
Last big coverage up there was tonnes of rave flyers. There was some excellent art work on some and some proper funky stuff on others.
Last time I visited my childhood room at my mums there was still pictures up, quite a few from various car shows I've been to, but mainly of me driving stuff round race tracks from my VXR days out and single seaters etc!

Back in the '80s there was a big red Miura poster with gold wheels, and a black and white magazine picture of a Facel Vega Facel II.
Also a couple of photos taken by me of an MGBGT V8, an E-Type and an Aston V8 Vantage, they were taken at a Duxford show if my memory serves me right.
Oh yeah, and a big James Dean Porsche 550 Spyder poster too.

I know I had a couple of big posters of horrible Toyotas in the early 70s, but I don't think I ever had them on the wall.
When I was 18-22 I had some rather cool Le Mans Porsche posters up - I've still got them in the loft somewhere I think.
I did have Olivia Newton John on my wall for a while, but only because a neighbour gave it to me and I felt obliged!

Of all the posters that adorned my walls over the years there's a few that stick in my mind. The blue and yellow Pilot Escos hanging it's arse out round a hairpin on a dirt stage, Colin McRae performing a stupendous jump in his 555 Impreza (N1 WRC I think) and Damon Hill after winning the WDC in the Rothman's Williams. Who says motorsport advertising doesn't work?
The only one that stayed up once I hit the awkward, spotty, fapping none stop, cover your walls with unobtainable women stage was an utterly 80s style clock with an F40 on it. I think I've still got that somewhere actually!

I had the black countach on my wall & it had a women laid across the spoiler in stockings & suspenders,it was quite tasteful & i was only about 11 years old.
Still prefer the countach with the spoiler on although most dont have them.
Still have a dream now to one day get a lambo but cant really see it happening!!!
