Cars that ask so little and give so much!!

So thought this might be fun, cars that are within the reach of us mere mortals and are as much if not more fun to drive than cars costing 10 times as much.

Lets set a limit at £5,000, what have you owned or do you aspire to own within that bracket.

I'll start with the obvious choice (MX-5) to get it out of the way. Post pics too so its an affordable car porn thread

Evo certainly rate them, no personal experience, though an Fiesta I've driven from that era was a right laugh, even the diesel vans!

Driven one on an airfield day, will own one, one day! The little 1.3 8v is such a screamer, couple that with sweet handling and it's got cracking hoon-a-bility.

I'm bias to the fiesta zetec s, it's a hoot to drive, it doesn't have too much power but on the twisties I manage to keep up with cars that should be a lot quicker

Surely the ford puma should be in this thread, bought my mint, low miles 1.7 for less than 2k. I think the racing pumas are less than 5k now.
